Hello!

Hi, I am Caren. I am a person who enjoys being curious, getting questioned at and especially to debate on one's ideas and opinions. This personality of mine led me to pick up a career trajectory that I would truly enjoy, which is Research.

My fascination towards research started during my UG where I did a study to understand Infatuation on AI systems. If you haven't watched the movie "HER", go watch it. My study was kind of based on the movie where I attempted to prove if infatuation on inanimate intelligent entities were a possibility. What started as a joke gained traction in International and National conferences. Hence, I found my comfortable sweet spot of how I want my Research career to go. I dabbled across Lab based studies to Consumer driven projects to receive an holistic perspective on how user research 'should' be or ‘could’ be. This journey of mine kept me motivated and fed my passion where I started working for the fun of it and not see it as "work". I enjoyed taking lead roles and brainstorming with my peers.

 

THUS, here I am, a petit person trying to understand how humans function as how a Martian from Mars would be looking at us right now.
